A lot of my work involves managing the marketing for various companies, one of which is Cosmeditech who supply high quality aesthetics machines and devices. They provide marketing services to their customers, as an extra incentive to purchase their machines – and to ensure that their customers generate business using their equipment.

This is where I step in… to create logos, websites and print material to help each clinic or salon promote their new services. After creating 100s of new business logos & websites over the years, it really gives you a good insight into what works, which techniques actually generate more business for the customer.

More often than not… keeping it simple is the best bet.

The Logo Design

If I am given a flexible design brief for a logo design, I try to create something that will work across all platforms and marketing uses, like social media, print or website use. Again, keeping it simple is always the best bet, so the logo is clear when seen in small format. But of course I take any requests from each customer on board!

The Web Design

Occasionally I am asked to work on a Wix website, or Squarespace or Shopify… but I always recommend WordPress to my customers. The functionality is endless, usually at no extra cost, and I find that the old fashioned HTML / CSS control that you have with WordPress really contributes to good SEO, or being able to control every aspect of the background code is essential for top quality SEO.

Future support

As with all web design projects, I keep an eye on their Google rankings for a number of months after launching, to make sure they are ranked accordingly, and advise them on how to improve their SEO. And of course I’m always available for any technical issues that may arise… if any!

Paid Advertising

Occasionally, when a customer is in a busy city with strong competition, it gets harder to attain a top position on the Google natural results. If we can’t get into the top 5, we can try Google Ads or Facebook / Instagram Ads. I manage a number of these campaigns to ensure the budget is effective, monitoring the conversions and how successful each lead eventually becomes.

But in this situation, I always keep improving the blog & general website content, which usually gets the specific clinic into the top 5 – but this is the long-term plan.
