Hannah Paul Makeup Web Design

Hannah Paul is a highly experienced makeup artist based in Surrey. She already had a WordPress website that she managed herself, but wasn’t completely happy with the style and how the theme worked. She approached me to create a new theme for her, based on previous examples of my web design projects she had seen.

Web Design Style

Similar to a number of my previous web design projects, the minimalistic style is what Hannah wanted to achieve. The main goal was to immediately showcase her work and make it very clear and easy for the visitor to understand the content and navigate through the website.

Hannah already had a very simple logo alongside a white and pink colour scheme. The goal was to make the overall style very light, only using subtle flashes of pink to highlight certain areas.

Future Support & SEO

As with most of my customers, I provide ongoing support to help maintain the website. Although the website allows Hannah to manage the content herself, I am always available for major changes or help with SEO or security fixes.

At time of launching the new website, we had to migrate the web address at the same time. This switch will take a number of weeks to ensure it is done properly. By redirecting visitors to the new website, we can monitor the position of each website on search engines then safely shut down the old website.
