In the modern world you have to keep generating content to keep your high position. So I decided to do a few recipe style blog articles for Welsh Brew Tea, all involving tea products.

Targeting AI Searches
The main reason I focused on recipes is because they appear to get favour from the search engines, and with the growth of ChatGPT and Google Gemini offering AI overviews, I’ve found that creating a nice recipe article can get featured in these AI overview snippets quite often.
And with each recipe article being based around tea, I can effectively link through to various Welsh Brew Tea products as a realistic part of the article. And within one or two days of posting each recipe article, they did indeed achieve top billing on various AI overviews.
Utilising AI for Blogging
I’ve noticed a massive increase in blogs and general website content generated using AI. And I always warn my clients about the future consequences of this practice. Remember that AI simply gives you information that is COPIED from another source. So, by using the information that AI presents you, you are basically creating duplicate content.
Of course, the people who invest the time and effort into generating ORIGINAL content will eventually be ranked well above the people who saturated their websites with “copy & paste” AI slop.
