AGREE Charity Logo & Web Design

AGREE is a new charity that stands for Acknowledge Girls Right to End Exploitation. They asked me to create a logo design that is suitable for digital & print uses, alongside a simple, clean website to help them launch the charity.

The Logo Design

They didn’t have any real directions for the logo design, they just asked me to create something in fitting with a charity. Because the charity title involved a fairly long sub-title, I decided that it would work better as a circular logo, running the text around the outside, so it is always visible in small format.

The only requirements they had were to involve ‘holding hands’ which I tried to convey in as simple a way as possible, using a custom illustration of hands. I decided that it should be created using a single colour, after looking at numerous other charity logo designs. This obviously helps with print production or signage. The circular illustration can also be used as the charity icon, for future social media profiles and other uses.

The Web Design

With a fairly small amount of information about the charity, I decided to create a very simple, single page website. Using all information provided on the home page, and also a ‘Contact Us’ page. Of course there is scope to add new pages in the future, but initially, I thought the single page website would be the best way to optimise the website for search engines.

With absolutely no imagery to start with, I sourced a range of tasteful stock photos for the home page slider, which conveyed the charity’s goals. These images can be used by the charity for future marketing and social media content.
