MASS E Logistics Web Design

MASS E Commerce Consultancy required a modern, corporate style web design to launch their new business venture. The style is functional and clean, but uses lots of vibrant imagery and video content throughout the website. The other main factor was to create a good “user journey” to effectively direct visitors to the relevant pages, using good on-page navigation and general menu layout.

The Web Design

The client was interested in being able to easily update content in the future, so for this website I used WordPress Blocks to create the general page content, which makes it more intuitive and visual when making updates. Of course the colours and typography were important, using a font that allowed good contrast between normal and bold styling to highlight certain words. I also created a suite of icons, specifically for this website, using generic icons used in the delivery industry, but making them slightly original for MASS to quickly convey the services they offer.

Future Updates & SEO

The initial design brief included a Blog / Case Studies area where the client can easily add news items. When the first few news items are complete this will be added to the main navigation and home page. But the general SEO structure was carefully set up to achieve good rankings for their industry. And as the website grows with news items specific to the industry, the website should retain high rankings in the future.

And as with all of my clients I keep an eye on the progress! Both in SEO positioning and general maintenance. Occasionally there are mishaps with automatic WordPress updates, so if any issues crop up, I am always ready to fix things.
