Updated web design for Welsh Gluten Free Bakery Products. They needed a modernisation of their website… updating the logo & brand colours, also to make it more mobile friendly & accessible. The style is meant to be a bit traditional & friendly, conveying the business style.
UPDATE: In December 2024, the owners of WGF Bakery Products retired. This meant closing the business and website. I took the website down, while showing a simple closing message from the owners. I am very grateful and thankful that they used my services until retirement, to host and manage their e-commerce website.
Above you can see how the web design is responsive (mobile friendly) adjusting the graphics & layout to fit the visitors screen width. During the COVID-19 pandemic, they required an e-commerce system for customers to easily place orders via the website. We built an online shop including their most popular products. The shop was an instant success! Taking orders within the first day of launching.
The website also features include a Stockist page, which allows visitors to search for local stockists, using Google Maps API to find stockists & give directions. They are continually adding new stockists, as the website & the business grows.
The new website is designed to be have simple navigation, easy to use & above all – quick. We also installed good security so it is unlikely to get hacked.
A new feature is the Reviews function, which allows customers to add a review on the website, which provides great content that helps with SEO & gives new visitors a bit more background information.
