Logistics-e is the home of a top, highly experienced logistics consultant. He asked me to create a simple, clean and minimalistic website to showcase his services. He approached me after seeing a few other examples of web design work on my portfolio.

The Web Design
The main goal in this web design project was to simplify the information. In this case, SEO was not a major factor, as he already had a base of regular clients, the website was simply a window to his services and had to present his brand effectively.
The website was built using WordPress, using a tried and tested theme that I had customised for a number of previous websites. The layout and navigation work very well on all platforms and screen sizes. The choice of imagery was important to convey the logistics industry, I also added scrolling text / marquee area to the home page to add a further element of motion, alongside the hero slideshow and video content.
Future Support
As with all of my web design projects, I provide a bit of training on how to update WordPress, and how to manage updates. I also set up a number of security measures to prevent hacking attempts. And for all clients I offer a freelance service for any future updates. Of course I provide quick fixes and future advice for free.
