ReSec asked me to create a character based logo design to re-brand their new company – giving their business a more friendly feel. They are a security / construction supplier, hence the character is wearing a high-vis jacket & hard hat.
The typography is fairly chunky, with a 3D effect to reflect the construction industry. The logo design was created to work equally well on their stationery, large format signage & website.
For illustrations like this, I find that simplicity is key. The fewest amount of curves, and the most geometrically symmetrical design will look correct.
