Swansea Ospreys Web Design

Ospreys Wheelchair Rugby Club got in touch with me to design their website. They previously had a small area on the main Ospreys Rugby Club website to advertise their team, but were now looking to create their own website to increase their exposure and to give them the ability to update their news & events sections.

Website Functionality

They needed a fairly simple website, but asked for the functionality to easily add their news items, match results and upcoming events. The website also had to be very user friendly, with clear navigation that worked equally well on mobile.

The Web Design

Obviously they wanted to create a website that reflected the main Ospreys website. I created a dark theme, using black, white and grey colours for buttons and accents to continue the theme throughout the website. And the overall style of the website will continue to improve over time, when news items & images are uploaded.

Future support

Of course I made sure the website was user friendly for the back-end updates, giving the team tutorials and support on how to use the website in the future.

And as with all web design projects, I keep an eye on their Google rankings for a number of months after launching, to make sure they are ranked accordingly, and advise them on how to improve their SEO. And of course I’m always available for any technical issues that may arise… if any!
