Friends of Swansea Botanical Gardens have been around for nearly 30 years, but recently refined their name and needed a modernisation of their logo design. They wanted to keep the traditional style, along with the poppy illustration as the central design, using the stem of the flower to form the S shape.
The poppy illustration needed to be simple, yet botanically correct. They also required the logo to be used for a number of purposes, such as stickers or badges on their aprons, with a range of slogans or abbreviations of their name, to give them complete flexibility.
The finished project included 9 separate designs, with different colour schemes, each design being supplied in a number of formats and sizes so they can use the logo across all platforms and printed items.
