SkinLogix were in the process of setting up a clinic in London. They already had a logo design but were not completely happy with it. They initially asked us to tidy up their existing logo, but asked for a couple of other logo design ideas.
We suggested another design, set within a circle, so it would have more impact on social media. We updated the font, using a taller, condensed font which would work well in small format, but also work well for shop signage or any other uses.
They initially wanted a grey / silver & red colour scheme, but then asked for a pale pink / gold colour. It is often quite hard to achieve a pale metallic colour working with CMYK colours. We simply applied a gradient, which is quite subtle but does give it a metallic look. For their shop signage they will be using foil printing to achieve a truly metallic finish.
