A local group was created in Swansea, South Wales to provide sporting activities for children in the area, starting with a boxing academy. They approached us with a specific idea about the design, providing us with a painted image of a wolf’s face that was full of different grungy textures. They wanted the logo to have a graffiti style, with vibrant colours and paint splatters.
We tried to simplify the painted style, firstly by creating a vector illustration of the wolf’s face, then creating a number of paint splatter shapes for the background colours. It was important to create the logo ans an EPS / Vector illustration, so we could use the logo in various formats & printing techniques, as a T-Shirt print for example.
The logo was initially produced for the boxing academy, but we provided several sizes & options, with & without the wording, and with different colour options for future uses. Each paint splatter can be changed to a different colour, so they can create different versions of the logo in the future to promote different types of events.
