The CosmediTrader website was designed to cover a range of functions. Firstly, as an e-commerce web design to sell refurbished aesthetics machines. Secondly, as a target for Google Shopping ads, to get good visibility at the top of the Google search results for a range of keywords. Thirdly, to act as an advert for Cosmeditech’s range of new devices.

The Web Design

The website was designed to be easy to use and mobile friendly. We studied a number of existing, popular e-commerce websites and tried to combine all of the good aspects from each web design, while aiming to keep it lightweight and fast loading.

Google Shopping Ads

The main purpose of this website design was to get a good position on Google. And we have found that Google Shopping Ads are far cheaper than standard Text Ads, and are often the first thing you will see at the top of the search results. But it is essential to have a well built e-commerce website in order to attain a top position on Google Shopping.

By adding comprehensive descriptions and details to your Google Shopping Ads, they stand a very good chance of appearing top of the search results.

Traffic & Advertising

By placing subtle adverts within the CosmediTrader products to the Cosmeditech website, it acts as an effective, indirect way to get customers and leads for people who may be looking for a new device.

The CosmediTrader website is more of a traffic generator and advertising platform, where the e-commerce system is secondary to it’s main purpose. But it still stands up as a good e-commerce web design.
